Dear Parents & Guardians of Storm’s Under 11’s,
Firstly, Storm Softball Club would like to wish all members, and their families a Happy New Year, and our best wishes for 2019!
Softball New South Wales will be hosting the 2019 Asia Pacific Cup, which will showcase some of the best softball players in the world with 6 of the World’s top 12 teams confirmed to contest the tournament in Sydney.
This tournament is to be held at the Blacktown International Sportspark in Sydney from 31 January – 3 February 2019, the Asia Pacific Cup will see teams representing Australia, Japan, China, Chinese Taipei, New Zealand and Italy compete for honours in the largest international women’s softball event in Australia.
Softball NSW has chosen Storm Softball Club’s Under 11’s to be a part of the Opening Ceremony for the 2019 Asia Pacific Cup! Storm Softball Club representatives will have the opportunity to not only meet International Players, but also to walk out onto the Main Diamond, with these players as part of the Opening Ceremony!
All representatives will be required to meet Brayden & Jay at BISP by 6pm, Thursday January 31st, in FULL Storm Uniform (Playing Shirt, Black Sliders, Black Socks, Storm hat & Joggers). The Opening Ceremony will begin at 6:30pm sharp, & each player can have BOTH parents enter FREE of charge. After the ceremony, the players are welcomed to sit in the grandstand & watch Australia play Italy.
